Sparkle at Sheepworld

 
Sparkle stowed away in Jett's Mum's bag and came to Sheepworld with us.  But when we were out and about with the animals he was rather frightened of the emus.  They had longer necks than he did!

Sparkle came on the bus and Mum picked me up from the bus.  And we went home and I got dressed for Hip Hop.  Mum took me to Hip Hop.  It was fun.  At Hip Hop Sparkle fell asleep. 
We went home and got Willow's milk ready.  Then we fed her and Sparkle came and helped me feed her. And then Sparkle, Mum and I went to swimming.  Sparkle wanted to swim with me!

Brody with Sparkles

Brody was such a lucky little man to be able to take Sparkles home for the weekend.

            

Brody was so devoted to Sparkles, so so adorable !!!

 

First of all Brody gave Sparkles a "check up". All o.k Brody? Yes. Sparkles is very well, Brody replied.

 

Sparkles needs a bath, Can Sparkles have a bubble bath with me Heather?

well why not... he was looking a bit grubby. 

Cool! 

 

Brody then took Sparkles for a ride on one of his favourite cows # 48..Yee haa!!!

 

Sparkles had a very busy weekend with Brody, delivering a  truckload of firewood to Grandma in Tokoroa, then swimming in the Tokoroa hot pools...what fun!!! Brody was very careful that Sparkles was not to drown and gave Sparkles a flutter board to be safe... very caring Brody ..well done.

 

Brody and Sparkles then set off to Tauranga to see Brody's little sister Keira (along with Poppa and Heather).

Keira was a little unwell but between Sparkles and Brody, Keira soon felt a whole lot better, Sparkles you are simply magical!!!!  and all your little carers from room 2  are amazing !!!

 

Brody and Sparkles had an awesome time together, what a treat!!

This is me and sparkle, me and sparkle went to a bbq.  They had a black rabbit and two dogs.  We had a sausage for tea.

Sparkle has been good at my house, she is my friend and I dressed her up in
my doll (Gemma's) clothes. Sparkle had a lovely sleep with me, we slept on
the floor till dad moved us back to my bed.

WOW ... Sparkle was great to have around! Cain was quite enthusiastic about
all the things they would do together this afternoon and evening. They
watched a bit of TV, rode bikes outside, ate dinner really well together
then we played hide and seek before bed. Now Cain and Sparkle are tucked up
in bed. Great idea Mrs Murphy.

Sparkles Adventures

Sparkle and I watched TV, then we went to the lake. We had a nice swim and then we went back home. We had a nice, warm shower and a nice dinner

Sparkle at home with Fred

As I waited for Freds smiling face to emerge from the back of the cat bus this afternoon, I was greeted instead with that of a lovely giraffe, Sparkle.

 

Fred was very excited to have him home and couldnt stop telling me all about him, and how he wanted to make him a bed and play with him, and exploded into endless chatter about ALL the things they were going to do together!

 

Sparkle has indeed had a lovely time at our place with many adventures - Frederick has written in his book about one adventure on his bike with Sparkle  - and I thought that I would write about another one.

 

 

 

Sparkle, the bush and the Tiger

 

One hot day Sparkle went for a bush walk with his freind Fred.  The bush was lovely and cool.  Fred showed Sparkle his favourite swing.  Sparkle loved to swing under the big trees.  This gave him an idea....  He decided that they should go on a bush walk to find the tallest tree in Fred's bush.

 

As they set off, they heard a rustling in the bushes and then out pounced a growling tiger!  AHHHH  

 

Both Fred and Sparkle ran as fast as they could.  But it was no use the tiger was very fast and soon caught up to them.  He was a freindly tiger and he was not alone - he was there with Jack, Fred's brother. 

 

So the 4 friends set off together to find the tallest tree.

 

The saw lots of trees - some of them very tall - but they felt sure that there was an even taller tree somewhere.  So they carried on walking and soon they came upon a giant of a tree - a Totara by the stream.  It was a beauty and it even had its own special bridge beside it.  

 

Sparkle could only reach the branches of this tall tree if he jumped really really high!  Tiger tried to walk over the bridge but slipped and fell into the water below, which was fine as he enjoyed the swim on this hot day.

 

Fred, Jack, Sparkle and Tiger all had a great adventure in the bush, and are looking forward to many more to come!
